I can not translate this plugin. Also with the files provided by Buddypress. The same problem I actually had with BBPress, but this can be translated via the GodLike.po.
I'm obviously too stupid, Wordpress is set to German, also in the Config.
BBPress
BBPress can't be completely translated as the godlike.po hast overwritten some, but this is not a problem if you know it :) Die translation file of BBPress is completely translated, also topic and replies - So I mentioned it.
Buddypress
Which plugins must be translated? I have followed the instructions where the translation files of Buddypress have to be added, but it changes only "settings" and common things like time, which are however Wordpress specific.
I've already set up my Wordpress to German, also like in your picture but I've translated now and there is rather a smaller problem with your .po file!
So I've translated "comments" by posts in themes/godlike/comments.php line 31
BBPress "x topics" and "x posts" "x reply" themes/godlike/loop-single-forum.php line 58 & 63 & 65 and "x voices" themes/godlike/loop-single-topic line 89
The plural for German users is very difficult to translate, since plural is not to be translated in the code! Because of äüö (eg 1 Beitrag / 2 Beiträge)
ANd I've found one more by the register Form of BBPress form-user-register line 22 Username
The main problem, the godlike.po overwrites much of many words, so one must use these for its translation as main file. Also Buddypress I have completely inserted into the godlike of the original file. And what I enumerated, one could simply not translate with LOCO, since these parts are missing in the template of the translation. Also the "X Comments"

"X Comments" - it's standart wordpress core lable and you can translate it in the standard .po file.
Months - fix in a future version.
"X topics" and "X replies" - it's standart bbpress plugin lable and you can translate this plugin.
For full of translation you need to translate individual plugins.

When you change the language settings in WordPress, plugins should automatically adjust. (Settings->General->Site Language)
Buddypress supported German language in their settings
