I've tried setting up email clients using the recommended plugins, but I'm unable to figure out how to exactly set it up. Secondly, when I have a member register to subscribe, they never receive an email with there password. I have to generate it and send it manually to the email they registered with. I'd like to get this system automated. i"ve searched numerous amount of plugins for both of these features trying to find something that works, but have yet to find anything relevant. Please help
Maybe it's in the hosting settings. Check the standard registration form in the modal window. If after registration does not come with a letter with a password, then the problem is in the hosting.
I will get right to work going through all that to get it set up. One last question regarding SSL. I recently upgraded my SSL certificate for the site to be registered as an https:// which is woriking. My question is regarding certain image files and content files that I have show up as http which in turn make my shiny little green lock not appear properly. Any advice on the best way to remedy this? Maybe somehow changing the content source, I'm not sure. what do you think?
Find How to Setup WordPress to Use SSL and HTTPS section and follow the instructions.
If you use ssl only for the woocommerce store, you need either copy header.php (attachment) to the child theme and delete the link check, or add a multi-site and split the store from the main site.
Alex, so another issue has occurred., and I'm not sure what prompted it since everything was working fine yesterday, and i didn't change anything. but if I go to appearance and try to use the customize the menus it doesn't load anything but widgets and Godlike theme active. Also visual composer is not working properly. I know it needs to be updated, the updated version is unavailable to use. What would be the issue behind this
Hello Alex. So i received an email from Envato saying an updated version of the godlike theme for WordPress was available. I'm guessing the updates to Visual composer and advanced custom fields are included in this update.
How do i go about applying this update directly to my site?

Hello.
You need to configure ssl to work with wordpress. I think it's help: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/
Find How to Setup WordPress to Use SSL and HTTPS section and follow the instructions.
If you use ssl only for the woocommerce store, you need either copy header.php (attachment) to the child theme and delete the link check, or add a multi-site and split the store from the main site.
Example for esc_url(): https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/191126/esc-url-wont-use-https
Information about the multi-site: https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network
Unfortunately, we can not remove the esc_url function from our theme, since the method provides secure filtering of links
Sounds Good. Thanks once again :)
